Position Description: Superintendent is responsible for supervision of field operations for various projects within allotted budget and schedule. Superintendent will manage multiple projects involving field measurements, fabrication, installation, and punch/ warranty work.

Superintendent will be surrounded by internal team consisting of an engaged business owner/President, Project Managers, Project Foreman, Fabrication Manager, Fabrication Technician, HR Admin, Contract Administrator, and a talented installation team consisting of company employees. The depth of our team allows the Superintendent to focus on safety, quality installations, and supervision of field crews and other employees.



1. Develop and Execute plan to take project from fabrication to final completion.
2. Manage manpower and schedule crews to meet project needs.
3. Oversee and supervise use of shop drawings and contract documents by field crews.
4. Assist Project managers to prepare and submit change orders, schedules, and RFIs to ensure no delay to project.
5. Monitor in-house fabrication and external fabrication to ensure all material is produced on time and address any delays with fabrication team and GC.
6. Provide input to management team regarding manpower projections based on material delivery schedule and milestones established by GC.
7. Participate in and contribute to project meetings held by GC.
8. Collaborate with project team to identify the means and methods to execute the work most efficiently.
9. Assist Foreman and management team with coordination of on-site activities.
10. Visit job sites on a weekly basis to review quality and efficiency and to tend to other issues as needed.
11. Provide weekly project updates to management team.

Travel: As required by project location and schedule, both in-state and neighboring states.


Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
2. Must be able to walk jobsites with varying terrain.
Position Requirements:
1. Be an independent self-starter and possess advanced time management skills.
2. Work well in a team environment consisting of SWG&G personnel, GC, and Design Team.
3. Understand how to build and maintain relationships with SWG&G Personnel, Suppliers, GC, and other professionals.
4. Possess excellent professional written and oral communication skills.
5. Have advanced shop drawing and construction document interpretation skills.
6. Identify problems and develop creative solutions that minimize negative impact to project.
7. Understand material processing, fabrication, industry standards, and code.
8. Be proficient with Procore, Microsoft Excel, and PDF Annotation.
9. Have a working knowledge of field installation methods for Storefront, Curtain Wall, Glazing, and door hardware.
10. Possess working knowledge of the following systems and products listed below.
a. Curtain Wall, Window Wall, Storefront
b. Doors: Storefront, Automatic, and All Glass
c. Door Hardware
d. All-Glass Entrances
e. Exterior Glass
f. Interior Glass- Decorative and Specialty
g. Interior Glazing Systems
