Seeking Project Manager for Idaho’s Largest Glazing Contractor.  We are a non-union, employee owned company with great benefits.

Job Overview

Responsible for managing projects assigned by determining the scope and objectives of each project.  This includes ordering materials, interaction with vendors, general contractors, and employees.  Negotiate vender contracts to obtain the best possible pricing. Coordinate with crews, general contractors, and Project Engineers through all aspects of the project.  Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare and negotiate cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables.
• Review and check all fab drawings.
• Submitting project deliverables and ensuring they adhere to quality and safety standards.
• Prepare status reports for management and establish effective project communication plans.
• Prepare and submit purchase orders for glass, metal, panels, windows, heavy equipment, caulking, etc.
• Facilitate and communicate change requests to ensure all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
• Advise and assist other personnel with project management duties and troubleshoot installation issues in the field.
• Work with scheduler to coordinate install crews as needed.
• Provide continuing education and training for field and office personnel.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Must possess strong understanding of prevailing project management methods and proven experience in project management.  Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.    Ability to complete projects in a timely manner.  Budget and estimating experience required.   Ability to read blueprints and proficient at reading specifications.  Ability to work with PDF software.  Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.  Excellent communication skills and a greater attention to detail are required.
