The Glazier’s role is to install materials correctly per project specifications and
manufacturers’ installation instructions. Projects may include storefronts, windows, skylights,
curtain walls, and doorways.

Duties:
 Correctly install glass, hardware, and materials efficiently, and per specifications
 Follow all instructions from the Foreman and Leadman
 Perform tasks safely, and in accordance with OSHA regulations
 Consistently demonstrate a “teamwork attitude,” and a willingness to learn

Required Skills/Abilities:
 Installation of windows, doors, mirrors, glass rail, and sunshades within Industry
standards per project specifications and manufacturer installation instructions
 Vinyl
 Basic understanding of installation procedures per framing system installed step by step
 Basic understanding of measurements
 Glass handling
 Previous glazing experience is preferred

Physical Requirements:
 Must be able to lift 75lbs+ (over 75lbs must be with another crew member)
 Prolonged standing

Experience:
 Glass installation (Preferred)
 General construction (Preferred)
