We are looking for an experienced Glazing Estimator/Project Manager for a full time permanent position in the Orlando area.  Salary will be based upon experience.  We offer paid holidays, vacation time, and health insurance benefits.  We are a drug free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Ability to read, interpret and understand architectural drawings and specifications and provide detailed take offs and estimates
• Provide pricing for change orders
• Follow up on estimates
• Enter orders and produce fabrication sheets
• Maintain detailed and organized records of bid documents, correspondence and other project specific information
• Assist with phone coverage when needed

Skills  

• Have experience using computer software estimating programs
• Knowledge of aluminum glazing systems and their applications
• Strong geometry and math skills
• Organized, self-starter with the ability to handle numerous projects, phones, prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge and experience of custom door hardware application and pricing

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Must be able to communicate effectively and conduct themselves professionally; excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Need to have good working knowledge of fabrication and installation in order to have good understanding of customer needs
• 5 plus years construction estimating experience
